Administrative Pastor

Andrew Cummings was born and raised in Hays, Kansas. He was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and be part of the church from a young age. For as long as he can remember, the local church has been a central part of his life, and he’s always loved being immersed in church life and culture.

In 2009, Andrew and his wife, Jan, moved to Texas, sensing the Lord’s call to begin their life together in a new place. Since then, God has been faithful to open doors for them to serve, build relationships, and love His people.

Over the years, Andrew has worked in a variety of roles both inside and outside the church—including worship leader, piano instructor, music school director, banker, optometric technician, woodworker, and youth director. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a BBA in Finance in 2006. Andrew enjoys bringing together organization, attention to detail, and creativity—all qualities that serve him well in his role as Administrative Pastor at Christ Redeemer Church.

Andrew and Jan are the proud parents of Rhett (11), Avington (9), and Gane (6). He loves spending time with his family and finds great joy and energy in being around his church family as well. The Cummings are deeply grateful for the Christ Redeemer Church community and the privilege of living life alongside fellow believers.
