Administrative Pastor

Andrew Cummings was born and raised in Hays, KS.  He was blessed to be born into a Christian home and raised in church.  He has been a member of a church family for as long as he can remember and loves everything about church culture.  Andrew and his wife, Jan, moved to Texas in September of 2009 as they felt the Lord calling them to start their lives in a new place together.  Since then, God has been faithful to provide incredible opportunities for Andrew and Jan to serve and love His people.

Throughout Andrew’s life, he has filled occupational roles both in and out of the church – worship leader, piano instructor, music school director, banking, optometrist tech, woodworking shop and church youth director. Andrew graduated from Fort Hays State University earning his BBA in Finance in 2006.  He likes organization, detail and creativity – all of which work well in his role as Administrative Pastor at Christ Redeemer Church.  

Andrew and Jan are the proud parents of a 9 year old son named Rhett, a 7 year old daughter named Avington and a 4 year old son named Gane.  Andrew loves hanging out with his immediate family and is energized by being around church family also! The Cummings are so thankful for the Christ Redeemer Church family and the opportunity to live life with a community of believers.
